1998–99 Orlando Magic season

The 1998–99 season was the tenth season of the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA).〔(1998-99 Orlando Magic )〕 In the lockout-shortened season of 50 games, the Magic returned to the playoffs as the third seed with a 33-17 record after a one-year absence, but fell to the #6 seed Philadelphia 76ers in the first round. Guard Darrell Armstrong was named Most Improved Player of the Year, and Sixth Man of the Year. This was also Anfernee Hardaway's final year with the Magic, as he was traded to the Phoenix Suns during the 1999 offseason.
